It's Baaaaaaack! G8 Re-incarnated

Here's some pics a buddy at work shot the other day while driving near GM tech center. It appears to be the new Chevy....um I mean Chevrolet police version of the G8 (Caprice???). I am assuming that since this was a public road without any covering on the vehicle that this isn't anything that hasn't been shown elsewhere before.

Oh wow. I haven't seen these yet. The Impala-esque rear/tail-lights is a little odd but still great to see they've progressed to doing this.
