I'm looking at getting a set of after market wheels. Does anyone know the weight of the stock 18" wheels, just the painted ones that come with the all season tires. Next Question: I found a set on the tire rack site that weigh only 20.5 lbs. per wheel. I bet that would save over 10 lbs. of unsprung weight, per wheel! Have to help acceleration quite a bit. Any comments?

That wheel only has 35mm of offset, g8 has 48mm, might not be a good choice.

Didn't know that! I figured if the tire rack lists the wheel as fitting a particular car, then it will! That's about 1/2 " of difference in offset, your right, not good.

Now that I think about it some, is there a way to adjust offset on the wheel?

Only in one direction with spacers. I don't recommend it though.
This is what I want my G8 to look like.

Not to mention that I just found out they are 7.5 " wide wheels! Oh well.

7.5" wide - that's why the offset is different. They'll fit just fine as is (if you want narrow wheels).

Right. No way do I want narrower wheels!
