Tested Nitrous

Today finally played with the nitrous. Only running a 75 shot right now. Later once i get the interface timing controller back form HSW i will go to a 125 shot for the track. But i can tell the difference form a 40 roll up to about 120. It was there in no time with that little spray. I nail it and tehn when Spray kicked it seemed to just gain. Which i know it did but still. I have it set with a 1 sec delay to make sure i have traction on the street and at the track i will test it with the drag radials. And work with the delay to see if i can come off line with less delay or will need more. I will get some pics posted of it installed here later. Plus still working on better mounting brackets for the solenoids.

I tried to get a newer 08 C6 vet to play but he wouldn't, i think he heard the purge. Oh well. I beat a 05 C6 yesterday with no spray. Guy at first said his bottle was empty and i replied mine is off. So we stopped, had a little fun and a talked afterwards.

C6 was stock besides the Nitrous. Which he wasn't using and neither was I.

I went with the TR6 1 step colder. Baught them from harris speed works. .040 gap as charlie recommended..I dont use enough to gap lower then stock. if going to use alot ora huge shot them gap .035. i only using a 75 shot now and willnt go over 125.

I think he means that discount tires likes his nitrous setup because he keeps burning through tires, not because he is filling the nos bottle there, but I may be totally wrong! haha

It is good to go except the interface. But dont really need the interface till i shot a bigger shot. Harris has it now figuring out what was wrong with it.

Man i miss the bottle, haven't sprayed in a long long long time, mostly cause my cars been out of commission, but iv'e had the interface controller sitting in my garage for about a year now. I've been doing the same, running a 75 shot until i get the interface controller in there.


You know what... I'm going to go install it now!!

Well... Looks like i'm gonna have to get this Interface Controller fixed again, LED's not indication any power going to it.

So much for the 125. :(
