This is a complete cooler kit that is a direct bolt in for the G8 GT's. Kit will include all necessary bolts and hardware to complete the job.

One or more quarts of fluid may be required, but depends on how much you loose. :nutkick:

GRRRR8.net member price is $309.95 + $12.00 shipping and our retail price is $349.95 + $12.00 shipping.

Questions or comments let me know and I will try and get them answered.

Note:
Some CAI kits will not work with the GXP cooler so if you have one check with your manufacture about fitment on a GXP.

It's A G8!

Do you have any pics of the cooler?

Do you know what CAI kits will not work... Rotofab? Any idea about working with a magnacharger intercooler?

Every time I think to myself, no more mods, someone comes along with something new. This is a no brainer mod IMHO. Any extra insurance to keep the tranny cool makes total sense. Need to check fitament with Volant, but I don't think there will be an issue.

Greg, since you've now got all kinds of new free time from getting back and forth to work so fast in your new GXP, any chance you can post some pics, purrrty please? Thanks!

Looking at this in the pictures and not seeing it for myself, I have 2 questions.

1. It looks as if this will still work with a Vararam, would you concur?

2. Would it be possible to somehow incorporate a temp sensor on the hot side somehow? I'm adding a tranny temp guage and want to know where the best place to put it. I really don't want to drill and tap the tranny pan.

old thread.. but any idea if this is t-stat controlled considering the size of it?

There isn't a t-stat in this system. Is that what you were asking?

Who has installed this, is it necessary to remove the nose of the car?

I haven't actually installed one but I am pretty sure you have to pull the fascia to do the install.

does this work with people with a tvs since they have a heat exchanger in that spot?

It would work if you get the spacers from Magnacharger for the GXP. You can see them in the install .PDF for the GXP on their site.

Supremely excellent question Darkmanx!!!! Will this cooler work with the heat exchanger in place?

Lastly, what is the part number for this cooler? Apparently, Greg is no longer with Pace Performance!

No I am not with Pace directly but still can sell the parts :)
New site on the way.

The spacers are shown on page 23 in the GXP install manual (http://paceperformance.com/files/Pdf/manual_gm_pontiac_g8_gxp_2009.pdf)

Listed on my site now. WAS10385350 (http://wasslow.com/WAS10385350-G8GXPOEMTransmissionCoolerPackage.aspx)
Don't mind the look of the site. Waiting on my designer to get back with me.

Has anyone gotten beef from their dealer with this installed? A laughable idea for sure, but just wondering.

Greg@PacePerformance

I doubt the dealer would even know it wasn't put on at the factory.

Brad, Are you sure this would work with the Vararam? It looks to me like it might block air flow on one side.

will this fit with the New Era OTR CAI?

Greg@PacePerformance
06-03-2011, 04:21 AM
I don't think it would have any effect on a OTR intake because it all mount in front of the radiator.

Would this do a better job then the PCMforeless cooler for 170.00??

Greg@PacePerformance
06-03-2011, 05:15 AM
Sorry I don't know. It all depends on the size and design of the coolers.
Maybe PCM for less has done some testing but I don't know for sure sorry.

I know for holy thread revival but, is anyone running this cooler with a 3000-3200 stall have any tanny oil temp readings similar to texas heat or after aggressive driving?
