Everyone,
I know the Atari gauges aren't very accurate but they do tell me one thing: more bars are better.
When my car was stock, my voltage read 15 all the time. Now, with my car cammed, it varies between 12 and 14.
Is this something to be concerned about?
Thanks in advance.

I don't see how installing a cam could lower the voltage, it doesn't run on electricity. I suspect you have another issue unrelated to the new cam.

Guess the reason I associate this change in voltage behavior with the cam install is that I noticed it when I got the car back after it was installed. Plus an issue in the first tune where the engine choked every time I stopped the car temporarily aggravated the charging system. The tune is now resolved so it's no longer an issue.
The voltage does recover, usually after the car is off for 12 hours or more. So today it was 12 volts and it did increase to 13 volts. Other days it will be 14 volts.

Check the voltage in engineering mode, it should be more accurate than the Atari gauges.

I suggest putting the battery on a charger overnight.

Thanks for the responses. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow for some other stuff so I'll just have them test the battery to make sure it is GTG.
