The part number is 92184248 but it doesn't come up on the Pace website.

My dealer charged me $44 out the door for my OEM one without having to haggle at all, which is IIRC cheaper than the list price and the aftermarket ones. You might just check with your local stealership. Call first though, as only one dealership in my area had a single filter in stock.

What is the service interval for the CAF, I seem to remember it is 24K miles. BUT, is it 24K miles OR 2 years or just 24K miles (probably take me 3 years to get to 24K miles)

I would say to change it every 2 years or 24K miles which ever comes first. The CAF is $38 at Monster but by the time you pay $10 shipping it's cheaper just to get it from the dealer.

I'm pretty sure mine was bad when I got the car, so if your car stinks with the A/C on and the outside temp around 70 degrees, just bite the bullet and replace it.

The cabin filter should be changed every year, especially if you live in areas that have a lot of pollen or dust.

You can always go to NAPA Auto for their Gold Filter. Thats where I purchased mine ..a lot cheaper than the dealer.
Mine was shot with only a few thousand miles on the car. You can tell these cars sat for a long time. Had the start of mold on it.

The Napa Gold filter is apparently pretty low quality compared to the OEM one according to people on this board and it costs $66.79 at Napa. I paid $44 for my OEM replacement at the dealership...

Wow.. I only paid 35.00 bucks for mine through NAPA online .. I guess it must be if it was that cheap.

Its located under the hood on the passenger side. Underneath the plastic windshield cowl. You will need to pop 4 or 5 clips, lift up and out and the filter is down below. You will see it.
If I'm missing something please someone else chime in and correct me.

Be careful with those clips (7 I believe), they are slippery and tend to jump out of your hands :)

Twist the new filter into a S shape to fit it though the opening and position the bottom of the filter first, then press the top in.

I canceled my order for the NAPA ones after reading some reviews on the boards. I will stick with te factory ones until something better shows up.

My filter was nasty as hell after 1 year. I am going to replace it every year from now on.
