I plan on attending this event this year. I have raced Tri-State once before, and loved the concrete track. I just happened to be there on a day with "bad air" and ran slow. Any other G8s want to join me? This will be a much shorter drive for some of you Iowa guys than for me.

How far is it from the Hot Rod Power Tour?

G8 Ray its about 150 miles NE of Newton. I had to check because it's no that far out of the way coming from WI but I'll be rolling through there on June 4.

I didn't end up going. Had to work, and weather was "iffy." I will be at Byron Dragway in IL tomorrow June 6 for the HDRA race though.
