I just found out about a Car Show. The Red Onion Burger restaurant in downtown Mountlake Terrace is having their 2nd Annual Car Show on Thursday June 3rd from 4 to 7pm. Sounds more like a Cruise In than a Car Show, but but it could be fun to check out. The Red Onion is located at 23209 - 56th Avenue West Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.

I know the owners - very good eats. The grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and guac is killer. They are good people. I'll try to get down there, I'm home office on Thursdays. Thanks for the heads up.

Well Thursday's weather looks CRAPTASTIC - ARGH. However, they do have drive in events every Thursday through September I found out. Seriously good eats and dirt cheap, plus they sell beer and wine and have outdoor seating. If the weather doesn't cooperate I won't be there this Thursday - but I know this summer I will definitely be there for a Thursday or two.

I am going to check it out, preferably if the weather is decent. I heard a rumor that it is an ongoing this as well, but I heard they do it Saturday afternoons. Guess we will have to confirm.

I had lunch there on Sunday, they had fliers saying they have a cruise in every Thursday from 4 to 7 PM through September.

One of these Thursdays I would like to meet up with you guys for this. Too bad I won't be able to make the one this week, as I am on 2nd shift still. This being the 2nd annual car show, should be a good turnout vs. a typical Thursday night any other week. Looks like the weather might cooperate on Thursday, as it only looks like 20% chance of rain .

Too bad it's kind of a far drive for me. I would be willing to make the trip though if it was good weather. If they do these often, then I will definitely try to make an appearance one of these times.
