This is an incarnation of the VE Commodore put together for the 30th Anniversary of the Holden Dealer Team. It's called the Blue Meanie in tradition with the original Group A Blue Meanie cars.
Limited edition of 250 VE versions were made from late 2009 onwards.
I got to inspect one on Tuesday and I have to say was not overly impressed on looks alone.
I love what they've done with the seats.
The fit and finish of the exterior add-on scoops and panels was the worst I've seen for a long time.
Totally out of whack with the pricetag.
I may go back and get some pics of my own in the next few days.
Actually at the Dealership where I saw the car, the Principal had his own personal Blue Meanie stolen about a week ago. Police have been chasing it all over town but can't catch it.
