This sounds neat, more of the same attributes in the new VE Series II that we all like so much in the G8.

I just hope GM decides to flow one down to the US in some form.

Yes, bring it over or better yet make it here so we don't get the collapsed strut bushings and all the other BS that may have happened on the boat ride over.

I like the strategy. The body style of the car is classic, why mess with a good thing. Continued improvement in the functional areas of the drivetrain, suspension/steering and other components are really the key. I also agree that the car could be made here. I never understood GM's strategy of closing one plant in one area of the country to only build a new one somewhere else. Misuse of limited capital funds for sure.

I'm guessing that GM will wait until after the IPO before they announce a new zeta for NA. I wish they would build them here as well.

I think they should sack Captain Nemo from chief of the Airvent Design Department.

Those Airvents are definitely ..Big! They look like horizontal cup holders. Everything else looks great.

Wait, LHD, Pontiac dart on the steering wheel.... what's going on?? I thought the Commodores with Pontiac front ends are devoid of the arrowheads??
Also, it is quite a bit higher than the current screen, hopefully that would pass US regs and come here as a Chevy.

Between tax breaks from local governments and the cost to retrofit and update an existing building, I can see it being cheaper to build a fresh complex sometimes.

Test mule built using waste materials ???
No arrowheads on production cars here.
Look closely at the left hand side applique and how it has a small raised "oops" section to meet the centre stack.

I don't have pic editing capability at work, but there is also a 'misfit' on the right side of the pic at the upper corner of the glovebox door. Looks like they just shoehorned a new center stack into a current G8.
