I just saw your car posted on craigslist and it looks awesome. Too bad you're getting rid of it. Great price too. The only G8 GT that's on craigslist in the area is price $4k higher than yours.

Ya there are not many GT's around here... a ton of V6 cars but it does not look like they are selling. I dont expect to get what my CL add is asking for but we shall see :)

Just wondering what kind of horsepower you're getting with those mods. Also, do you recommend the Trifecta Tune or would it be better to go with a Cortex?

I have not used the cortex or anyone other than trifecta so I really cant comment. I picked up about 50hp at the wheels with these mods.

Ya, $18K trade - and then they'll put it up for sale for $29K (as you know by the V6 prices dealers are asking for). They must think you're high, as long as buyers.

Valley Pontiac in Auburn is still trying to sell their Solstice GXPs for like $37K and $38K - good luck with that.

I think your car is priced very fair - you've taken excellent care of it - don't dog it out - one of only 1,111 built in that color. Someone will snap it up.

I hope so... either way I wont cry if I dont sell it. I figure if I can get 1500 for the parts on the car than I can drop the price of it by that much :)

If it wouldn't cost me $10,000 to swap all my stuff, I would buy it! Stryker Blue FTW!

The way things are going it wont sell anytime soon :) I dont think many people are looking for G8s. If I can loose some weight I will be back on 2 wheels soon :) When I had my R1 and my CBR I was driving a beat up subaru impreza and did give a shit :)

Do you still have a bike? I'm signed up for the 2fast instruction school at PIR in July, I'm so excited.

no bike at the moment and probably wont have another until next summer? With a pregnant wife its hard to sell the new bike idea right now :) expecially since every time I have my shirt off she can see my scars and collar bone sticking out my shoulder :(

I'll pimp for this car - it has been very well cared for - clean ride. $24K is a screaming deal if you're local. Take a look on Craig's List or Auto Trader at what V6 models with similar mileage are selling for at dealers. I can't believe no one has snapped up this car.

problem is I have not been very god about posting it for sale other than here.. It was on CL for a few days and I probably should put it on autotrader...

ya about 10 years ago I looked at a silverado they had there... it was about 5K higher than everything else but it was the color and trim I wanted... I was not trading in anything but like a dumbass I let them run my credit... they came back with "well your creidt is not that strong but we can get you 9.5% percent of you put down 10 grand" next day I bought one from a different dealer with 0 down and 4 1/4 % interest :) also the dealership said I had a 710 score... not to bad I guess for being 20!

sounds good! I will be picking up a new Tahoe in the next week... im kinda having second thoughts about the CTS-V so I may be getting something more for modding like a GTO or Camaro but either way I wont be doing a car till winter time as Ill have the Tahoe to daily drive.
