I would call the North Cascades Highway an epic road to cruise on. Light traffic, some great twists and turns in places, amazing views, plenty of turn outs and stops/trails on the way. We had a great time that day, put about 400 miles on the G8 going no where.

I don't understand your question. My performance numbers for 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile (slip is in the 1/4 mile time thread) are with a 93 Octane Cortex tune, but absolutely nothing else. If the times seem quick I will add that this was all damn close to sea level, in relatively cool air that was damp. Engines love rich, cool, damp air. I believe I turned a 13.5xx bone stock. I have yet to do a run with the Volant and Cortex tune - no idea if it would shave more time. The weather here has been utterly craptastic and it has poured on every day that CCC was scheduled so far. My DGF is taking my G8 to racing school on Saturday (same school I went to in April). When I was there in April it was 45 to 50 degrees and at times absolutely POURING rain. She'll be there during bright sun and low 70's (go figure). She'll have more fun, but at least while I'm working the course I won't be freezing to death!

you pretty much got all the answers to questions i had. I am going to try and beat your time LOL. I could not figure out why you was so quick stock but the air makes sense.

Where did you see I had the fastest stock time? I had the fastest stock time of an L67 powered Gen VII Grand Prix for about 18 months until another local guy beat me by about 2/10 of a second. You can get really good 1/4 miles at Bremerton being almost at sea level and the overall weather conditions there.

I didn't even know this existed. I've contacted the grrrr8 gods asking them to remove the honor of me having the fasted G8 GT. On my time slip that I posted on the site I do say I have a Cortex tune only, otherwise the car is "bone stock."

I'm glad you brought this to my attention - I like kudos just like any other person - but I only like kudos I've properly earned.

Nice pictures, and a little snow would be rather nice today (dry, high 104 degrees or some such).
