Never Realized How Big it Is....

There are a bunch of BMW's in our office parking lot. Yesterday I was parked next to a 3 series and I couldn't believe how much larger my car was than the 3 series. It's huge!!!

When i look at my car from the side i think wowo it is big..Then i look from behind i think it is smaller then it is...It isnt no wider then a Camaro or mustang..least dont seem like it

The 3 series is a small car and it's not in the same size category as the G8. Our car looks small from the back because it tapers inward from the rear wheels back to the bumper. Take a good look at it sometime and you'll see what I mean. I thought the same thing too until I noticed that.

I believe that our cars are close to the 5 series.

+1^ I agree I remember reading a couple articles comparing our G8 to a 5 series in size, performance etc.

SpeedRacer, I agree with you when you compare them with a 3 series.
I walked out of work one morning and I noticed a few 3 series in the facininty of my G8 they are a dime a dozen around here. Boy does our car stand out against that thing. It put a smile on my face!

I usually confuse G8s and 5 series' with each other when I catch them with a quick glance. Makes me do a double take.

Ours are actually closer in size to the BMW 750. I park next to a 530 all the time at work and we are definitely bigger. Parked next to a 750 Tuesday and they were fairly close. My lady friend has a 330i and that thing is tiny; real small inside.

I've actually been accused of driving a BMW... once. And while that's arguably a 'compliment' to the car, I haven't met too many BMW drivers whose company I enjoy. Anyway, definitely in agreement that we're like-sized to a 7 series... not the stretches, though.

I went to the grocery store a few weeks ago and a guy that walked past me thought I had an Import. He probably thought Beemer as well until he saw the arrowhead.
