2009 Merc Grand Marquis - Flex Fuel Question

On 87 or 91 octane gas, she gets around 29 mpg on the highway.

I filled her up with E85 and now she's getting 22 mpg at best.

Should I remove the battery cable for a relearn? or is this typical of E85?

E85 does not get the fuel economy that regular gas gets. It may creep up in time, but it wont be as good.
