I plan to have my car tuned at a local shop with in the next 3-4 weeks. I am wondering if tuning in the winter vs. tuning in the summer has an impact. Obviously cool air is better for HP numbers. In the summer will my performance be even less since the car was tuned on cooler air?

I'm not a expert, but for a daily driver I would do it in the summer.

On something without all the sensors I believe it would make a difference but with the IAT sensor and MAF and everything I don't think it matters one bit. Kirk at VMS or your tuner would have the answer though.

Does your area switch to winter blend gas?

I don't think we change blends here in Texas. Our winters are very mild.
