I heard that about Jersey and NY is just as bad. Texas is OK. Too HOT, Too FLAT.

I got a choice, I have the day/weekend off, was gonna make a trip back TO L.I., but I just got HOT passes to the Cup Race tomorrow in DOVER.....nothing like watching the race from the pit areas !!!!! Last time I had a hot pass at DOVER was five years ago, it was a great race and I ended up on TV watching Jeff Gordon getting interviewed in the garage after Tony Stewart wrecked him, that is me in back of Jeff Gordon, he wasn't too happy.......I will be in the 29 pit tomorrow.....

I should probably start a new thread for this,but in the near future(like late spring)when the weather is the best(IMO)I'd like to have a meet at my house...basically a BBQ,but a have a bocci ball court on one side of my house and a grill the size of a g8 backseat. I know most all the LI guys/gals and anyone else who can make it is welcome...we can use my 100' driveway to have 3 cars being worked on(electronic mods,Adams detailing-i have it all,etc..) before I post something official,we can set a date now based on a choice of a few weekends in may or june...these would be best,let me know your votes: may 14th,28th,or June 11th (i have sons b-day and wifey anniversary inbetween those dates) -Cliff

Dealer put regular caps on and they didnt fit all the way. Only OEM bullet style long caps I could find were at advanced auto, $10 for 50 of them. Were out of 4 packs. Only needed 2.

If anyone knows anyone looking for a nice G8, let me know. I'm friends with his nephew and they're looking to sell his G8 sometime soon. Would love to see it go to a caring home, as would the family. There's a few other Holden items and such they found as well I may help them sort through as they go through the house.
