I don't think it will.

This case is likely to be more expensive than most will be willing to spring for.

This is for 1500hp+.

Looks like it will bolt in fine but you would have to get axles made to work on a G8. Soooo mucho $$$$$

It will fit where a Camaro diff fits, but they are talking a 40 spline Waveloc or spool. Plus 40 spline axles. Plus custom driveshaft.

This will be an awesome diff, but it will be thousands.

I have about $2700 in my new diff, I bet this will be 3x the cost when you add everything up...

That was half way to a 416 bottom end...

Indeed, I'm at a total crossroads with this car. Nobody will buy it, it ain't worth much for trade-in, it costs a ton to make it any faster, I guess I should just be satisfied with it.


1375 for the 3.70 diff
975 for the TrueTrac
the rest is in the install

More then halfway, ouch! At the very least you could have done heads/cam and been a lot faster but I'm sure the gears make it a little more fun to drive or at least easier to spin. What has the mileage dropped to with the 3.7's?

THat's about what I'll have in mine...plus the cost of the hd axles if they ever ship. The truetrac is still sitting in the garage waiting on the axles.

Depends on the car, some cars handle extra power without the need to spend thousands in drivetrain work. Each manufacturer cheaps out in a different place.

It is SO much more fun to drive on the street.

A half throttle stab off the line makes the car leave as hard as it did before the gears, maybe quicker. That's without wheel spin on these Hankooks. Full throttle anywhere in 1st is spin city. I can break them loose in the middle of 2nd if I want.

The trip to and from Island, including 4 passes, was more or less the same as the trip to Cecil that I posted about last year. I was using 5th on the highway to get out of the drone zone...

Yep, this new 12 bolt will be bad ass for sure. Wont be cheap either :)

Nice, sounds like driving with a cam! Not sure my car would even be usable on the street with 3.70's as it already spins a lot. I do the same thing driving in 5th sometime not really for drone but the car feels and sounds better as 6th is basically useless under 90.

Let me guess whats missing....hmmmm.......heads !!!The last three months, he swore he was just "finishing them up".

A month ago, I told him to box them up and ship them back.

I haven't heard from him since.

I'm calling him, again...

ETA:
He said they need to be decked and assembled.

It's almost like our last conversation didn't happen.

He sounds in a much better mood than he did last time I spoke to him. Last time he wanted to shut the doors for good...
