Ha! Their contact for research is one Simon Cobb, a (perhaps former) employee of Lotus. He spoke of a vehicular R&D center when he spoke at my undergraduate graduation from NC State University in 2007, at which point he was employed by Lotus. Good to see it's come to fruition. I think I only recently threw away the business card he gave me...
