Well i know that chevy is coming out with their version of the g8 next year, maybe their "ss" will have it?

I thought I heard something about this 2 years ago. At that time they were figuring around 450hp/tq. They also said it was going to be put in the Camaro when it launched.

HA! Doubt it... The "Chevy" is only going to be the PPV, not for the public... quite yet.

Actually, I have seen that Model Year 2013 has an upscale Impala/Caparice Civilian version named the "Chevy SS" in parts and product literature.

Weather that will ever materialize or not, that's a whole different question.

I just recently read in one of the car mags I get in the mail that the Chevy PPV is based on an extended wheelbase version of our platform. I don't know if that actually means the car is going to be longer or not. But who wants that cruiser?!

The PPV is based on the Holden Statesman chassis.

I've read MY2013 for the "chevy ss" as well. I'm hoping it's true!
