Heck, he's got the 2009, no trimming involved so it should take 30 minutes tops! I hated to have to cut into my car to install mine, but oh well.

I wish it was that easy. My car was built in March of 2008 so I had to trim. Now I have some rare pieces of 39U painted plastic for sale... $0.25 each lol

Having to trim blows, I removed and installed mine in no more than 10 minutes.....love the clean look of the GXP diffuser, it is sooooo much nicer.

So much easier to clean, and fits the bigger exhaust tips :)

Take out all the push pins, it will be easier to get out. I only took out the four on the diffuser and ended up breaking all but three of the clips on the old diffuser. If I was to take all the push pins out I could have got my hand up underneath to push the clips out. Other than that I had to trim about 1/4" off each side for it to fit. I just used a razor blade and it cut pretty easily.

Geoff:

Thanks man! I was thinking about asking you for tips on the install since you already did it. Again, looks great!

Thank you for the install tips. I'm looking forward to doing this tomorrow. I think I'll take a before, during, & after pic (3 total)......

Just broke down and finally ordered one. Greg at Pace made the transaction too easy and was extremely helpful.

So now I will have a nice aluminum mesh cover that goes over the stock diffuser plastic "waffle" area for sale soon. Dresses up the back end, especially with exhaust tips. I was torn about doing this because I like the rear mesh "look" but the stock diffuser was making it hard to clean the big Borla exhaust tips.

Next I'm going to have to decide if I want to leave it black plastic, paint it gloss black, or paint it silver to match the car - I've seen Silver diffuser on Silver G8 and it looks damm good.

Thanks again Greg and Pace!!!!!!! Can't wait to get it.
