After EBC Yellows & Power Slot (126.62124sl/sr (left/right)), I only did the fronts b/c the EBC Yellows for the rear are on N.B.O. and I didn't expect much gain from upgrading the rear any way.

Still breaking them in so no feedback yet on if it's worth it or not.

it matters. bottom of the slot should meet the caliper first, as it pushes the gases up and out the slot.

The slots don't point the same way on all slotted rotors. Some rotors are slotted the opposite direction of what you'd think. He needs to go with however the rotors are marked, and stick with that, as opposed to slot direction.

If the rotors have internal cooling vanes, what matters is the direction they face, not the slots.

All vented rotors have "cooling vanes"....directional cooling vanes would be more accurate.

If the mfg. did not specify a left or right rotor, I would not worry about it either.

Exactly.

Exactly again. If the OP wants to be sure, he can contact the mfr. and maybe send them the pic he posted, and they can tell him if it's on right.

Brembo's slotted rotors are not directional because they are pillar vanes, FWIW. It is all about the venting, not the direction of the slots.

Dude, they are not, go to the MFG's website, better yet, contact them before misleading folks here.

power slot rotors machine the slots in the opposite direction of the vanes, he has them on right.

the rotors come marked and state so in the directions.

Let us know how it works out, I installed almost this same combo on my other ride recently. Problem is, I bought the GXP the same day, so I havent even broke them in yet.

also interested in what the dust is like, these things are crazy!

I was expecting more dust with the yellows than the stock ferddo's, but to my surprise, they dust less.

The I notice more iron dust rust running the yellows when they sit after a rain and they whistle at first when cold, particularly after a good soaking. Peformance definitely improves as they get hot. One road racer review I read suggested they are a great street pad and good beginer track pad, as beginners tend to brake earlier and longer, and the pads bite improves as they heat, think that's pretty spot on.

If you can tollerate a bit of noise, stockers never made noise, yellow make just a little on occasion; and watch them as they do not have wear tabs, you'll probably like them more than stock for less dust and improved bite when hot.
