So, I'm a northsider and was interested in running the car sometime soon. I'll probably embarass myself anyways, but.... I was looking at the LMP site as I was confusing it with HMP and I cant tell when they run 1/4 mile instead of 1/8th mile? All there links are talking about jackpot and street stock 1/8th's, not 1/4's.
I know if I make the looooong drive to Baytown for HRP that Friday's are good nights to go, but, is it the same at LMP?
TYTY for the answers btw.

I can only speak for my experience, every Saturday I have been to LMP have been 1/4 nights.

LMP is a 1/4 mile track open to the public usually on Saturdays. The website says the gates will open at 5pm today, with runs from 6-11pm.
HMP is a 1/8 mile track.
Call the facility or check the website before you head out, as these tracks will close at the last minute - literally.

Cool, I will have to go in a couple Fridays. I have some parts coming in this coming week so, I should be able to get them installed and ready by this coming week but I will probably wait a week.
I think that the jackpot event thing was throwing me off. I never liked that HRP didnt show the times except on rare special occasions, or I was never able to go when they were. Does LMP show the times?

James, I think on occasion that LMP runs other events, including a 1/8 event. This might be causing the confusion. Plus their website is terrible.

They actually run 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile on the same street nights on Saturdays. The 1/8 mile is some kind of bracket thing for prizes that usually doesnt have very many cars. The rest of the night is 1/4.
