Anybody headed out there or would like to go? I pretty sure I'm gonna head out there tonight. May be pretty busy tonight since it's post-Oreilly Nats and there's probably some good rubber on the ground. Looks like the rain might hold off tonight.

Let me know!

Well...Just got home...I made five passes and can tell yall that i'm a lil dissapointed(this coming from someone who almost has to have it his way all the time, lol)...Now, before everyone starts knockin as i know some of yall have run better with less mods, but this was my first time out to the track in this car, so i had NO idea how it and I were gonna react. Here are the numbers:

I got 5 passes in:
#1- 13.247 at 106.48 w/2.092 60ft
#2- 13.251 at 107.04 w/2.124 60ft
#3- 14.194 at 105.57 w/2.582 60ft(I effed this one all up, so dont ask, lol)
#4- 13.323 at 105.55 w/2.132 60ft
#5- 13.264 at 107.38 w/2.122 60ft

All on stock 19's with summers and balls to the wall from the dig(didn't feather the throttle to control spin)

Not sure what the DA was, but i think if I can get some DR's under her, she'd be solid into the 12's.

I know I shouldn't be, but i'm a lil bummed.Joked around with my S/O anout goin to the nearest dealership and tradin the damn thing in, lol....

Now your turn guys/gals....Tell me what you think..

Any suggestions to help me do better next time is appreciated....

Daniel, those times are not bad for the humidity. clear weather should easily bring 12s. You could easily shave .1 off the 60'

I disappointed that I have not made any track days this year. Damn work!!!! Soon...

tires and more seat time at the track will help. practice makes perfect. keep it up, Teresa embarrassed the hell out of me when she and I raced at LMP in the GTO. i was 2 seconds slower than her.

Whats your mods again???

CAI, Headers, Tune...It's all in the 60ft....Gotta get the wheelspin under control. Some of the guys on the boards with the same mods are in the 12.6-12.8 range. No reason I can't be either. Just need to learn to drive the car better.....

the invo's made a big difference for me so i'm sure with a set on the back of the G8, you'll cut down alot of that spinning.
