Was in a Philadelphia bar (in Conshohocken, PA) this weekend watching the Pens game. Got there early and the bar tender's bf was a Pittsburgh fan so she gladly turned the game on for us. When the fans started to complain she told them that we were there first. So that was nice. If you lived in DC like me you wouldn't say that. Grant it, I am sure there are some honest hockey fans that are fans of the Caps, but the majority of the fans have no friggin clue what is going on and only cheer for the Caps in the playoffs/when they are winning. I believe the technical term is "bandwagoniers." Plural of course. I loath coming into work and listening to these idiots talk about how awesome the Caps are, which yes they are good, but why haven't you talked about them the entire season? After all, they won the President's Trophy....oh you don't know what the President's Trophy is do you, no I didn't think so. Or the other day I had to explain to a Caps fan who the Habs were and why if Philly or Boston won why the Caps wouldn't be playing the Pens.

As a Pens fan I completely respect people who are fans of the other team, which I myself would like to see lose, but the amount of clueless people here (DC) that just want to ROCK THE RED is so annoying.
