Is anyone having problems with the stock spark plug wires melting with your new headers? So far so good with uncoated ARH, but I'm curious to see if anyone has run into this issue yet.

I know on the Pacesetter's it's prob best that you put an aftermarket wire set on. Some of the wires sit on the primaries. You want something with a 135 degree boot, or the MSD 32813/32819 that allow you to bend the spark plug boot.

I've had three different sets of headers, none coated, and haven't had an issue yet. (Kooks midlengths, LT 1 3/4, LT 1 7/8)

I've got 12,000 miles on a set of JBA 1-3/4 long tubes, cam, etc, and the only problem I had was with the stock heat shields. I ended up taking them off because they contacted the header flange and rattled a couple loose! That sucked, had to happen in the rain 50 miles from home! Stock wires though.
