This is a feeler to gauge interest/development in a Brembo rear brake kit that allows the e-brake to function, bolt on kit.
I work for GM and I am trying to get this item up for consideration as a complete kit.
Post if you are interested!

You bet. Pace has the CTS-v kit but they don't match the front Brembos and the heat shield is different on the V?

I am getting some movement on this in the right direction on my end.
Believe me, I've worked on this a long time now and I may have some updates shortly.
While that happens, please keep posting if you are interested!

My goals [and those of any GM product] are quality, cost, and durability.
Don't worry, hoping for an update [I can post] sooner than later. Because this involves GM, there are some things on the legal side than need to be kept confidential for obvious reasons:)
Have no fear :)

My rear looks like ass !(horrible pun) I would buy a rear Brembo kit today if it were available.
I am also desperate to find the Brembo paint code for some touch up work up front.

You have the GXP calipers in front? If so I we found a spray can paint that is real close in color.

Give 12346645 a try that is a .5 oz brush or you can use 12346205 5 oz spray can.
The paint code is WA891K (13U)
I am pretty sure this is the paint we used to touch one caliper up and it matched.

so i guess no solution for gt or gxp rear brake unless kits from baer or brembo.you can do the camaro and lose e-brake no luck i see. so lets try a rear single piston caliper cover i know is stupid but it may look nice.:cool2:

No updates at this time. There has been some progress but nothing to share.
I've been tied to several other projects at this time.

Due to several possible areas of liability I will not be posting my rear brake assembly. I could lose everything I own according to two different parties I have consulted.
However I am working on something that will be far better for everyone interested.
My old plan works but there are some safety concerns I have in regards to someone doing this themselves should there be error on installation.
I will update as soon as I get an email/phone call returned. Stay tuned!
This will also be a GRRRR8 forum thread only. I am going to kill offf the other boards thread.

Im going to be doing this with or without the E brake, having the Ebrake is nice but wouldnt bother me if I had to loose it. I already machined to mounting brackets from that cad file that was posted a few weeks ago and as soon as the damn trans gets fixed ill be looking for a set of rear brembos!

Everyone pretty much found a solution using a mix of factory and readily available aftermarket components...
I personally had some components machined up to specs but there will not be any components from my end for sale.
