Well it looks like I will be heading to the event. I was just wondering if anyone else from the west will be going so we could caravan.

Im not as far west as you but i will be trying to make it..I will be in FT Knox Ky during event for some school. Which is better then driving from tx..

I've signed up to go but situations at work are making it a 50/50 chance right now. It would be cool to do the caravan thing.

Wish I could make it, but it doesn't look like I can. I'm taking the GXP to Hot August Nights in Reno the first week in August!!

I would really like to do the national meet but I think I'll have to settle for the 2010 Goat Run this year. Maybe you could drive my car there and get 10 second pass at a better track!!!

Damn, doesn't look like my wife can get the first week in August off!! That's when Hot August Nights is going on in Reno. Since I found this out, I am now considering the national meet. Reno is about 320 miles from here and the national meet is about 1450. Decisions, decisions!!

Yes but pakrfan you will have the company of me on the drive and I can most likely get free rooms the whole time there. Due to tons of hotel points from my job.

If I can get my G8 in time, I am going. I've already signed up. I'll be coming from MN to the meet though. I'm going to MN to visit Family.

UPDATE: My wife tells me today that she can get the week off for Hot August Nights in Reno!! My son and his family live there and my daughter is coming down from Washington State. Should be a fun week of muscle cars, rock and roll and gambling (don't forget drinking). If the G8 meet is on in 2011 I will probably hit it then. You guys enjoy and drive safe. Oh, and don't forget to post up a bunch of pics!!
