The first time i took it to the dealer, they replaced the oil pan gasket: Took them 3 days to replace it.
Second time, they replaced the rear main seal and the rear cover gasket: Took them 5 days to replace it!!!!!

It still leaks from the back of the engine. Taking it to the dealer this morning again!!! Am i missing something here? I checked the total hours of labor to do both jobs and the first one is about 6hrs for the first one and 4hrs for the other one, this is from alldatadiy.com. I've searched here for oil leak, the only thing i can think of, is that they did not the TSB described here: 57-05-06-01-034J-Engine-Oil-Leak-at-Rear-Cover-Assembly-Area (http://forum.grrrr8.net/content.php?57-05-06-01-034J-Engine-Oil-Leak-at-Rear-Cover-Assembly-Area) and there's actually porosity in the rear cover.... they in fact did not replaced the cover. The engine starts leaking when the car is actually running!!

I'm right now at the dealer, looks like is the oil pan gasket again! This time there are 2 techs working on the car, LOL!! They guaranteed me that oil pan gasket is the culprit.... They said that the tech that did the work did not do it right...

The tech that did the work was off today, so i couldn't tell him how he was going to die.... LOL! They replaced the oil pan gasket again! It helped but is still leaking, they have start replacing hard parts like oil pan and rear cover.... i don't think they even read the TSB that i gave them...

What else could it be??? My guess is a casting/porosity issue with either oil pan or rear cover... Any toughs?

3 days for an oil pan gasket? I think the book time on it is 10 hours, but when I brought my car in to have it looked at, I dropped it off at 9, they didn't look at it until 1130 and had it done for 4:30.

That's what i'll do if things doesn't work out tomorrow... The only thing that worries is that they come back and say that this is happening because of the blower but that'll be just BS... I think is a casting issue with all lsx engines and gm knows about it....
