I'm trying to determine what kind of boost gauge I want to get. If you have a boost gauge or boost gauge experience post it up.

Pictures of your setup would be nice too.

I have an AutoMeter electric boost gauge along with fuel pressure in a double hump pod.

That's the route I'm leaning to. I can't decide on fuel pressure or AFR. I want boost either way. How much boost does your car make these days?

That setup looks good.

I need to get a better pic of this setup at night but currently have Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Oil Pressure in the triple pod. They are Glowshift gauges and for the price they are decent. My only complaint is they are hard to read during the day depending on which color you set them to.

I have an Autometer mechanical boost gauge, and an Autometer Digital AFR for tunning assistance and lean alarm.

Nate, you need to come visit me so you can hook my car up with this setup! I don't have the time or patience to undertake a project like that. It looks really good though.

She definitely gets it from me....

If you need just a Boost gauge you can go with one of the Intense Pods that sits down in the cubby.

I'm trying to figure out if I can obtain my boost from my MAP kPa. If I can do it that way I will since I don't want to put gauges in the car unless I have to.

Mine are mounted in the cubby. I think it's the easiest place. I can see them fine.

Mine maxes out at 120kpa. It doesn't work.

Not sure what the factory "reading" range is. I know in the old 3 BAR set-ups it was easy.

The factory MAP sensor for our cars will read up to 3 bar. I'm trying to determine if I need to update to the 2 bar operating system or if I can just change the voltage and kPa settings and tweak it from there.

Looking at a ZR1,LSA and LS3 tune.

My stock MAP scaling is 128.13 kPa @ 5v and -0.31kPa @ 0v.
The ZR1 and CTS-V are the same at 312.5 kPa @ 5v and -11.25 kPa @ 0v.

They all use the exact same sensor. At a glance it seems that I could adjust these scaling numbers it would work. I'm sure it's not that simple since NOTHING about tuning is overly simple.

Same here using my Dashhawk. "Air Flow" did not max out as it peaked at 429.

The Snow stage 3 digital display has a boost readout along with injector pulse % and meth spray %. It's all in one nice small package.

I bought one of these for my car. Have the A/F gauge mounted in it. The positive thing I can say is it looks really nice. The negative thing is that it's was pricey for an unfinished cut and bent piece of metal. I had to take mine to get powder coated black, so I probably have around $70 in just the gauge mount.

Brandon, if you don't have a way to raise and lower the boast, then I'd think having a boast gauge is nice, but not really needed.

As far as the MAP sensor goes, if it reads 128 kPA at 5 volts then it has to be a one bar MAP sensor.
