I used the mtx re-q in conjunction with my sony xplode amp and new infinity subs...WOW.really cleaned up the signal and boosted the bass! highly reccommend!!

It can also take another set of speaker,and I believe there is another type out now that allows even more(50$more though)

Gadgets? Here is what I used to add additional subwoofers. I used a current relay switch for my remote wire and wired my PPI amp directly to the battery. The source (factory head unit) is ran threw my Audio Control EQX which has a line level converter and EQ. This combo allows me to have a total of 48 db crossover and the ablity to run my amp with the gain almost to the minimum setting.

Since then, I have removed the passenger side sub and centered the other to improve my weight/performance.

FYI- A pic of my EQX that's hidden on the side. The current relay switch is on the bottom side towards the front of the box.
