....Mulholland Canyon. This happens to be my favorite canyon.
Also the road that I play around on the most.
Its quick, fun and exciting
I got a kick out of this, for you others that have ran it, kinda neat to see it ran like this. Even though it is a scion... that MOFO has 600 HP!
I <3 The Snake.

Thats Tanner Foust in the Rock Star Energy Scion with a TRD NASCAR engine. The car was built by Stephen Papadakis along with AEM. That car sounds sick in person.

I bet people who drove down the road after the filming were like WTF with all the rubber left on the road.

Tanner should be part of, if they ever produce one, American Top Gear. Along with Tommy Kendall.

Is that thing still FWD??? If it is, talk about some major torque steer!!!

That road looks awesome! I took the Ortega Hwy over to Irvine this past Sunday with the wife and had a blast. Had a C5 in front and a lowered Charger behind me and we were all doubling the posted speed limits on the corners at the very least. The wife had never been in the car with me driving like that and shortly after crossing the OC boarder I had to pull over for her to puke. LOL!

Complete drivetrain swap, even down to the driven wheels (it's RWD).

Yeah I watched the video again and in one of the slo-mos near the end you can see the rear wheels turning faster than the front wheels.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Also, did you see how close he came to the rail @ 3 minutes in?
That is a fun road....makes me want to hit it again.

That is the least Scion TC out of all the Scion TCs.
I fail to understand why manufacturers make fwd cars into rwd cars when they should grow some balls and make it rwd from the start.

Cool. Now for some real excitement, try that dodging traffic and the CHP after you.

Got to be a blast. Would have loved to see everyone's face that came after him wondering what the heck happen on that road.

Ya, I go without passengers. My first cruise (through that canyon, and then some) The hubby did not puke. But During JoeSyko's lil run, both my kids puked... (and I was not hitting it hard at all with them in the car).
I love that canyon, and could spend all day running up and down it. There is constantly rubber in odd places of that strip of road... Ill take pictures of some sections next time I go up.

You can't properly drift a FWD.

Plus there isn't any smoke coming off the front wheels, it's all coming off the rears.
