Charlie, is there a shop manual available anywhere for the G8 GT?

Thanks,

Not Yet.

www.helminc.com used to list a $125 paper version of the Service Manual (not available but you could get on a waiting list) - now all they list is a $400 DVD version of the Service manual (Not available - but you can get on the waiting list)

:(

I haven't tried yet, but I wonder if a VE commodore book would work?

I haven't tried yet, but I wonder if a VE commodore book would work?

It would work on everything except:
a) AFM (DOD) specific components, Holden doesn't use this (yet).
b) Anything specific to a left hand drive vehicle.
c) Onstar wouldn't be in there, whatever sat nav Holden uses would not apply, Holden instruments are all in metric scales.

But alas at last check such a book was not available to buy yet, nor was the CD-Rom.

I even looked in Alldata Pro. It had the G8 GT section but it didn't have any real content. These guys need to get on the ball! I want full wiring diagrams. It takes too long to do manual pinout tests of every little thing I want to wire for this car.
