have these been confirmed to fit on G8's? the shape does not look to be the same on the front as the rocker panels are an the G8 (they also look to be different then the pic in fitting instructions)

No they haven't been test fitted on a G8 yet.
There aren't many of those cars around here to test things on.
There's one set currently being sent over, if they don't fit the customer will be looked after.
The Holden drawings are sometimes generic images and may have been carried over from a previous model, they're not always a true representation of the actual car.

Here is a pic of the Pontiac ones. They look the same to me, so they should work fine.

Your right, if you look at the front ones in my pic they are diffrent. Some how I missed that when I first looked at the pic.

Yeah they do look to be the wrong shape. I'll have to check out what went wrong there.
See on the fitting instructions sheet it gives 3 different part numbers for the fronts.
I was sure I ordered in the "Sports" version which should have been correct.
I'll let you know what I find out.

Edit: The fronts should be 92179318, somehow I've received and taken pics of 92179316.
So I've sent over 1 set of fronts to suit Omega instead of Sports. (They can now be a chew toy for someones dog).
I'll get the correct fronts sent tomorrow.
The rears are still correct.
