I picked up the August Car and Driver today because it had the GT 500 and ZL1 comparison. They chose the Camaro over the Mustang based on some subjective BS because the Mustang flat out won every performance challenge....... it was half a second quicker 0-60, 0-100, qtr mile. It had a higher top speed, it pulled more g's on the skid pad.......hell it even gets better gas milage. If you have $60,000 to spend on a 2 door toy I dont know why you would pick the camaro over the mustang and I've been a GM guy pretty much all my life.

Long freaking day today. Left for work at 9am, till 6, then classes till 10pm, and the hour drive back. To top it off its the brightest freaking day out and theyre digging up and replacing the tanks at the gas station across the road making all sorts of loud noises...

Yea. I can only imagine how bad my younger cousin was. I called it stops at like 11:30pm cause I had to drive. He kept going till last call and got 2 shots and a beer from random strangers cause it was his birthday on top of what else me and our buddies ordered him lol. He did survive. Uhg so Mon/Wed I have work then class right after.. and the professor apparently has decided to keep up the full time till 9:50pm every class. On top of it the freaking school closes all the little resteraunts in its own food court at like 6pm, and the only place you can get food is at the main dining hall, to far away and to big a crowd at 6:30pm where I'd never make it to class on time, plus I'd need a stupid meal plan to eat there and the food is garbage. So I don't get home till at the earliest 10:30pm and eat dinner then. I dont even have time to hit up a drive through on my way there uhg. And my gas light came on on the highway back home, figure oh hey Ill get gas when I get off the highway before the 10mi+ drive back from the highway to my house. Forgot all the freaking gas stations close at 9-10pm. So hope I make it to the gas station when I leave in a bit..

We had 1.6 inches yesterday afternoon + one downed tree in the backyard that I get to clean up today. Last night we got 1.8 inches more. Drought had already lost its steam here before that, now I think we can stick a fork in it, its done.

When I first moved to Houston I worked on the southwest side of town and lived northeast (still do). People said that was a crazy commute. It was 35 minutes and 40 miles. When I left SoCal, it took 35 minutes to go 11 miles. All those people moving in is why I left. Traffic jam on the 405 fwy at 1 am on Saturday night.

this is the start of season 5. From everything that has happened you really need to start at season 1. All 4 season are out on DVD. Try Netflix I think you can get them all there without having to buy them all.
