Valentine One Radar Detector

Anyone use a V1 detector in their G8? I currently use mine and have the curly wire going to the ash tray area power outlet. However, I have heard that you can wire the detector directly into one of the wires going to the rear view mirror. Anyone have any idea how to do this?:nutkick:

There are two posts already on this. Do a search or search on my board name and you should find them easily. All you need is a scrap phone wire you can cut, and its a free mod.
