I've seen a couple of times people referring to 09 g8's as either 09's or 09.5's. I have a "09" g8 gt myself but how do I tell if its an 09 or 09.5? is an extra set of cats the only difference?

Bluetooth and I think rear cup holders that pull out of the bottom of the seat.

What he said. Also can tell by the exhaust. The 09.5's had extra resenators Patrick G's exhuast was diff then mine he has a 09.5 and i have a 09. He had extra resenators in his.

All the above. They are a 2nd set of cats, not resonators. Also different upper radiator hose.

Cats/ resonators same diff...i couldnt remember which one for sure..

Should be after the mid muffler if remember right.

Laziest way to tell is look for cupholders in the middle of the backseat (along the "floor")... that and if you have bluetooth.

Anyone have pictures of the different hoses?
GM listes different rads also.

Greg, there are pics here or over there with regard to the different hoses. Forget what you would search for? Hose maybe? Maybe it was the pics of the heater hose relocation threads....they may show it. There are various intake pics that may show the difference.

The waterpumps are different also.
outlet on passenger side of pulley is 08-09
outlet on driver side of pulley is 09.5

Where are the 2nd set of cats located ?

They are in the mid pipe just in front of the mid muffler.

Additional Two Pup Cats Added to Mid Pipe Section for GT/GXP

Rear fascia retooled for GXP Style Valence (may have happened earlier in 09 not sure)
