What weight oil with the tvs2300

I been following the camaro5 forum on F/I and saw someone ask about what weight oil to use with the 2300, and was suprised to see that LPE and a few other mod shops recommand 15w-50. One reason mentioned was the soft bearings GM uses with the extra pounding with boost. What is everyones thought on this?
