First time tuning, newb questions

I've read a lot and seen that there is an approximate 30~rhp gain from a tune to this car as stock w/ 1-2 MPG gain. I only have a catback exhaust added to it at the moment, and probably will not be doing much else to it. I am wondering if there are any negative effects from this tune that may impact my vehicle. Can anyone share their experiences?

I am far from an expert, but, I know of no negatives if you get a stealth tune like Livernois and Vector offer.
Oh wait, there is the one problem of taking the long way home and spending more time in your now much more fun machine.

Only negative i that comes to mind would be a dealership saying it voids your warranty. The tune is a great thing. Not only do you gain the hp but with the tranny tune it makes a world of diff.

These stealth tunes i have heard dealers can still see them as the vehicle stores every time it is changed. But this is just the dealer saying this.
