The time has finally arrived! :D

The GXP (Wheel Hopper 2000 to some of you) is going to undergo a transformation over the next couple of weeks. I'm dropping it off tomorrow night and when I get her back, it will be a totally different car. Hopefully it'll have around 120-150 more rwhp. :brock:

Fuel system upgrade + TVS 2300 =

I'm nervous and excited.

This is very likely a path for me as well. What times were you running before the 2300? I thought you were going to be the first GXP with a 2300, but BigV8 apparently is there already and maybe others. BigV8, what kind of times are you putting down in the quarter now?

Looking forward to pics and stats.

By the way Big V8, how many pounds of boost are you getting out of your 3.0 pulley.

Thats a good question. I was told it would take it to 9psi before the install, but I forgot to ask them what it turned out to be. Is your GXP an A6 or M6? I was just wondering because of the diff in HP between the auto and manual on the dyno.

Ive got an A6. Im currently have a 3.2 pulley at 9.5lbs. I will be bringing up the boost to a 3.0 pulley and installing a custom grind camshaft. With the first mod being the maggie at 7.5lbs of boost dynoed 497whp at Magnachargers location.

You two just remember that comparing dyno results on different cars on different dynos in different parts of the country is a lost cause. You can see 15-35 hp differences easily. There are three local dyno places that I have had vary my hp by, I kid you not, 45-50 hp. One is an extremely stingy dyno, the other is the dyno equivalent of a cheerleader on prom night, everyone gets a good result

Ahh buzzkill... "carbon fiber finish" not real CF.

If it were real carbon fiber , no one would buy it because of price. I full 4" diameter tube with provisions for fittings, and a 100 degree radius... the kit would quickly become $650 and it would never sale. Plus, there is not benefit to the carbon fiber... you'd save what...one pound?
