At what boost level does it start to slip. Was told by a pulley supplier that it will begin to start slipping after 10lbs. Want to get a second opinion if anyone knows.

No way for it to slip unless it's too loose. Mine (1900) has a "gear" type belt on the rear.

As for the 6-rib front belt, I never had slippage when I had a 2.9" pulley on at 10psi before my cam

It's A G8!

I'm at 11 lbs currently with a 6 rib front setup. I have no belt slip(yet).

Im running on the front an innovators front overdrive 8 rib setup, but was told that the rear 10 rib will slip after 10lbs., but might of been some misinformation about the slippage.

My mistake. It's a 10 rib. My mind is playing tricks on me in my old age.:om: Well there's your answer switch it to the "gear" (or whatever it's called) type.

I know of a local GTO with a cog rear setup on his 1900. He is using a 6 rib front setup (3" pulley))but I'm not sure how much boost he is making. Dynoed at 650 RWHP.
