So I have my car for sale here locally and I have a guy wanting to swap me intakes. I have the var intake and he has the roto. I love my intake and it sure cost alot more. The thing I have a question on is if im not keeping it should I hook a fellow g8ter up? I feel like I should sell it with my intake

You should be able to make a buck swapping with him. Go for it. It won't make any difference on your resale.
