Split Engine Covers?

What ever happened with the Holden split engine covers? What is Holden putting on the cars now? Are any available?

Hi Tony,

The 2 piece engine covers were never used by Holden on the VE cars.
The ones I sell come from the VZ model 6.0, that's why there's a mod or 2 required to fit them on a G8 V8.

A major plastics manufacturer folded and disappeared in Feb 2009, it took 8 months for Holden to find a new supplier and produce more of these engine covers. The price took a huge jump when they became available again in late 2009.
