Is it possible to break the limited slip on these cars? Only reason I ask is because I did one donut a while ago to show off and saw my two donut tire marks. Did another one not too long ago and time, only one tire mark. Does this mean only one tire was spinning? After my wheel alignments and balance, I'm done with donuts.

Its very possible to break it but I think it would break much more spectacularly, not just stop spinning one wheel.

how would you be able to tell if it broke? Is there something obvious to look for?

Don't think anyone has broken one yet but I would expect symptoms like grinding noises and car ceasing to move. Charlie or some others can likely answer this better than me.

When you get on it from a dead stop going straight do both tires spin?

not completely sure. I gotta get someone to look for me. What do you mean, do a burnout or just nail it from a stop to get it to spin? I'm afraid that i'll mess up my rear rotor's if I burnout lol. Yet, I have done donuts.

Get it to spin from a stop. If both wheels leave a mark then you're probably ok, assuming there aren't any strange noises come from your rear end.

A short burnout shouldn't do much damage if any to your rotors.
