That deflector is a little expensive for the guys out of warranty.

Is this that Helicopter sound/noise when all windows are up and just the sun roof open?

I think it is, I don't have a sunroof...
also, I am not sure what the anti-pinch feature is, but I know a lot have complained about some of the sunroof fucntions.

I've had this happen to me a few times, the quick fix it to crack a window slightly, that will give the pressure somewhere to go.

I just got the Maintenance II on my G8 GT today, and I mentioned to the service adviser that I get an occasional squeaking from the sunroof when the shade is open and the car flexes a little (like hitting a bump or incline.) Technician looked at it and they ordered this new deflector for me. Looks like they are expecting the flocking tape to take care of the squeak.

Only problem with the deflector I've ever noticed is that at highway speeds with the sunroof fully open, it's loud as hell. I can take my hand and press down on it just 1/8 inch, and it gets much quieter. Hopefully the new deflector will take care of that.
