Custom CAI for G8 GT...

I fabricated this CAI last weekend from scratch. Overall about $150 and 3 hours labor invested in total from aluminum mandrel bends, to silicone connectors, clamps, powdercoat, billet 6061 alum, and K&N 10" conical filter. I do allot of custom work, from turbo systems to blowers and nitrous so stuff like this isn't exactly new to me. With what I do it just wasn't an option to buy something that another company made and spend twice as much when I could make something just as nice. Overall not a bad little project.

As expected, I did have to redial the AFR's back in with HP Tuners after the install. Once the AFR's laid back down where I originally had them I took the car for a little butt dyno session. There was a noticeable difference and the car felt more peppy.

Onto finishing other mods now...
