Mine was 3950 with a quarter tank at the track scale. 4,000lbs with more gas and some crap in the car on my work scale.

Wasn't there a post somewhere that someone put their G8 on a scale that showed weight at each wheel? I remember it being interesting how balanced f/r and l/r the car was. I tried searching but can't find it.

He asked what the original curb weight is... so that was my starting point. I have gotten it down to 3695 once last year but for some reason can't duplicate it, the scales may have been off that day or I was just really low on gas. I can get it down to 3735 rather easily but normally my cruising weight is about 3840 or so. That's with the 20lbs of sound deadening I added to the car that I can't really remove.

Thats still with all the stock wheels/tires, seats, suspension, etc... I think with some front runners, race seats, etc you can easily get the weight down to 3600 or so and still look like a normal full interior car.

Yeah, mine was 3940 last year at Atlanta Dragway. Stock, with sport package, no sunroof, 1/4 tank, empty trunk, tire repair kit in the tirewell.
