How significant are the GRRRR8 mods, especially the LP mod (as I have a R-F cai)? And this is off topic for this thread but what advantage does a torque converter do as you go higher in number. I've heard, for example, that a 2400 would work very well with our G8's but most of you guys seem to get the 3200.
Can someone help with a clear explanation?

The lower panel mod will give your engine more air and cooler air.

So does more cooler air actually translate into better 1/4 mile speed due to increased horsepower, or not, do you know?
Looked at the web address you posted, pretty cool. Does the converter sort of grab the power and give it to the transmission so it can be put to the wheels? And does a higher number converter do this quicker or better?

All the fastest G8s have the lower panel mod if that helps.

It does and can you refer me to the "how to" post on the LP mod? Thanks.

Gotta get that done this weekend. Too wet to bother with it right now and it's 50° during the day so no real need either...
