A lot of guys over at Gm-trucks really liked them. You could check them out over there. They don't have many complaints from what i can remember (even though they are for different vehicles).

I really like it, it looks good and it's a high quality unit. Plus the dry filter won't cause the MAF to get contaminated with oil. Along with the Superchips tune I'm putting out almost 400hp at the crank, so it allows the motor to breathe well. Also the dealer doesn't hassle me about it since it looks stock.

High quality. Smooth inside for good flow. Materials are top notch. Filter is more substantial than most. Great but tight fit which is good because it maximizes space. Little sound difference at cruising and idle. Sounds great at WOT. You may need to spin the ps line clamp around. Filter will need to be removed so you can tighten down the nut/stud on the fender. Works well with Cortex.

Cortex is a hand held tuner used to modify engine and transmission parameters.

So the filter never requires cleaning, but I'm assuming it does require cleaning? Or is this a filter that is replaced every 4 years?

The filter is supposed to be good for many years without cleaning. I've had mine on for about 6 months and haven't touched it, but in the upcoming months I plan to look at it. You can always vacuum the filter to remove any excessive dirt.

I got 30+ hp with the Volant and a tune.

I'm hoping to get a Volant this spring.

I met up with WolfCountry and he showed me the volant in detail (including swapping between stock and volant) and it was a quick 15 minute installation, very professional looking as well.

With my existing cortex and the custom CAI specific volant tune, the results will be awesome. Currently my cortex is tuned with the stock intake and still is pretty awesome.

Can't wait till spring! :cool2:
