IS there anyway to make the TVS whine louder? Like closing silencer holes

Put a cog drive pulley setup on the rear.

how hard or easy is it to swap the cogs? Could you do it at whim?

on our car the blower has to be removed. no room behind it to work

removing the blower takes maybe 20 minutes, 10 minutes max to change rear pullies to cog and 20-30 to reinstall supercharcher. It does help to have a second pair of hands as it makes it easier to lift the supercharger out of place and to put back without hurting anything.

Disclaimer: Only if you're Daniel & you've done it a million times. ;)

Eh, I think I could do mine in about 1.5 hours... with an extra set of hands. Which makes me think, why havent I done it yet...

Hey give me a break, I brake motors, change pullies and all way too much. I am sorry I have practice LMAO

I am wondering how long it would take me to pull this 2300 off and put on a f1 procharger. I wonder if their kit is a simple install or requires fabrication to work.

pretty sure it requires fab work.

Edited to add: are you divorced yet?

lol, no not divorced.....she loves me too much. I am not going to switch to procharger......but once the 3100 comes out all bets are off. The 2300 and 418 is not producing any more power even when I swapped from 3.2 down to a 2.8. I am wondreing if the 418 is eating up the boost. I am getting about 12-13 psi but when I pullied down I actually lost power.

I ordered a 3.0 just to try and will put it on tomorrow and retune. I hope the 2.8 is just a fluke. I have 8 Rib overdriven front with RIP overdriven rear and have zero slip.

So it's not a really big deal (like loosening lines and losing fluids) to pull the supercharger off. See that's what I wanted to know, I love the whine but to be honest it's whine all the time. I like the other blowers because they only get loud whine when under full power but they don't make one to easily fit on a G8. So all that in mind I'm thinking that I can live with a quiet supercharger but for a few hours of work I could pull the maggie swap the cogs and get that whine. Quiet for everyday asswhippin power and for track/c-n-c days I can get the whine going so you know asswhippins will commence presently.

That will be my path I'm thinking. Whine is available for a few hours labor and I believe it's a water-cooled intercooler so I could do the A/C-intercooler chill unit to get the air intake temps down.

you will lose some coolant unless you clamp off reservoir hose.

Ok..nevermind. I'll just be the strong silent type of G8

Whine on a SC'd vehicle if you had the old rotor/lobe design of the MP112 or MP122. The new TVS1900 and 2300 rotors/lobes produce less noise but are more efficient.

Which is more efficient? Roots or Screw?

So WickedMom, what vendors sell these cogs? I seen one place Jannetty racing that sells them and that's it. If we have a vendor I would rather support them.

WickedMom

Yea, any Magnuson dealer can sell them. I am putting a set on my car today. :YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY: Finally!
So, Ill have some video later. You always could just call me if you wanted :)

Oh yea, we are out of stock right now on the 1:1, I believe the next delivery date is 9/12

The 3.1 is still a dream. Plus, it takes 200hp to spin it. Realistically, anything under 1200hp wouldn't be able to handle it.

How much hp are you producing? I seriously doubt you have maxed out the 2300. Did you get the RIP stuff from Joe?
