oil changes with service contract ?

I have Smart Care and Major Guard, I thought the Delaer told me I could have my oil changed for free every 6k miles or 12 months whatever came first ? Does anyone know if this is the case, or do I have to wait on the oil service monitor :uhm:

the oil life is just opinion i think it is what every you want might be a minimum of every 3k

I have mine changed every 3k under the service contract..

Update ! I called GM and they said under that contract I can have oil changed every 3k miles or 3 months up to 4x a year and tires rotated every 6k or up to 2x a year.

3k miles is irresponsible. Go at least 5, especially considering that we have so much oil that it lasts longer. Even if it is free, you will see no benefit changing it at 3k.
